We’re partnering with a well-established and growing business in Cork to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager. This is a key role within the operation, with responsibility for managing suppliers, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring continuity of supply across the business.
You’ll work closely with operations, engineering, and finance teams, playing a hands-on role while also shaping procurement strategy as the business continues to grow.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities across direct and indirect spend
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms
Support production and operational teams with material availability and planning
Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Monitor supplier performance, risk, and compliance
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and inventory optimisation
Proven experience in a Procurement or Purchasing Manager role
Background in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical environments
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on
Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability
Experience managing or mentoring junior buyers
ERP/MRP system experience
CIPS qualification (or working towards)
