Job Title: European Business Development Manager
Location: Remote with frequent travel across Europe
Package: Up to £85,000 (DOE)
We’ve partnered with a leading chemical distributor to find an experienced Business Development Manager to expand their market presence across Europe. This is a remote-based role with extensive travel to meet clients and partners across the continent.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting a well-established product portfolio within the chemical sector. This is a commercially focused role for someone who enjoys autonomy and has a strong network in the European chemicals space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across European markets
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Promote and sell an existing portfolio of specialty and commodity chemical products
• Track market trends, competitor movements, and emerging opportunities
• Report regularly on sales activity, performance metrics, and strategic insights
• Develop a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
Requirements:
• Proven track record in business development and sales within the chemical industry (essential)
• Strong commercial network across European markets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while travelling extensively
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
